Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Only Dad's collects, why, and what you can do about it. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, and billing address.
- Payment records — the fact and amount of each payment, and the last four digits of the card. We never see or store your full card number. Card data is handled entirely by Stripe.
- Membership activity — which events you attend, forum participation, and any messages you send us.
- Basic website data — the pages you visit, kept in server logs for security and troubleshooting.
Why we collect it
- To run your membership and charge the correct amount.
- To contact you about events, changes to the club, and billing problems.
- To meet tax and accounting obligations.
- To keep the club safe — enforcing the Code of conduct and handling disputes.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
- Stripe — processes payments and stores card details on our behalf.
- Email and hosting providers — to send mail and run the site.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose.
How long we keep it
Membership records are kept for seven years after your membership ends, because tax law requires it. Forum posts are deleted when your membership ends, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep.
- Withdraw consent for marketing email at any time — every message has an unsubscribe link.
Email info@onlydads.cloud and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Payment pages are hosted by Stripe and are governed by their policy.
